Self-conscious about your smile? We’re going to show you how to fix it.
*INCOMING CHEESY ALERT*
A bright smile is the best thing you can wear.
Oh dear, it even sounds cheesy when I write it! But in all seriousness there is so much truth to the phrase…so much. When a person smiles, you can feel the energy and confidence they give off, it really can change your mood. A smile can change your day.
But unfortunately, a lot of people are afraid to show their smile to the world. You may not have the confidence to show your teeth.
At Chats Dental, we see patients on a weekly basis who for too long have been hiding their smile. They’ve been afraid to show their teeth to the world. And a very common cause is that they are scared of how their teeth look and what people will think about their smile.
Their teeth may be stained, chipped, cracked, gappy, worn down, misaligned, gummy, crooked, uneven or even missing. I see it often in my Chatswood patients, they just don’t know what to do. With advancement in modern cosmetic dentistry, there is so much that can be done!
A real client…
I had a patient sit in my chair at Chats Dental once, and when I asked her how we could help, she burst into tears:
“I just want to be able to smile without feeling self-conscious about my teeth”
It is heartbreaking to see someone without the confidence to smile, but enormously empowering when we find a solution and work with our wonderful patients to achieve a sustainable beautiful smile in the end.
Cosmetic Dentistry – A Little Background
Cosmetic Dentistry is such a funny phrase. A lot of my patients are a little bit taken aback when I suggest that we would be using cosmetic dentistry principles on them to fix their smile. But we must remember that our goal is to change the look of your smile so that you can have the confidence to show it.
The two go hand-in-hand.
Cosmetic dentistry is about improving your quality of life. No-one wants to feel constrained, or as if they have to be conscious of how their teeth look. There is a way to fix it.
Cosmetic dentistry is about looking at your unique features and designing a smile solution that fits perfectly into your face.
It’s an incredibly empowering process to be a part of.
